 Traditional ways of circulating air in a large facility just don’t cut it. Why?

  • High-volume air movement from conventional high-speed ceiling or industrial floor fans is unpleasant and disruptive.
  • Air speeds beyond 1.80 m/s or 2.25 m/s usually offer little, if any, added cooling benefit.
  • High-speed fans are expensive to operate and many are required for effective cooling. And they can’t de-stratify air to keep temperatures consistent from floor to ceiling.

HVLS industrial fans slowly circulate a large amount of air in a very large space. The Revolution fan can circulate air across an area up to 26 m from the fan's center in all directions, up to 2046 m2. Fan diameters range from 2440 mm to 7320 mm. Air is pulled from above the fan and pushed down in a conical shape to the floor below. Air travels in this cone shape until it hits the floor and then moves in a horizontal stream away from the diameter of the fan.

The Revolution® Fan’s airflow is different than other HVLS fans. With extruded blade designs, there is an area directly underneath fans where you feel little if any air movement. These “holes” exist because an extruded blade does not move air uniformly across the full diameter of the fan. These “holes” do not exist with the Revolution® Fan, which is an important benefit for many applications.
